Zenshuji Shusho-E 2018

Mochitsuki 2017

It was great to participate in the Mochitsuki Day at the local Zen Temple. We chanted, pounded mocha, and a whole group of community activities. Lots and lots of volunteers spent the whole day, from early morning to evening. I spend most of my time in the kitchen peeling and cutting potatoes and other chores. It was a great day.

Rev. Kushita Visits Nov. 15 2017

Though Rev. Kushita and I performed our practice at Kanzeonji, we also had a moment to visit Zenshuji, during is brief visit.

Jizo-Bon 2017

August 20, 2017: We partciptated in the Jizo-Bon at a local Zen Temple.
